Job summary

Lucid Consulting Australia is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will influence project strategy, mentor others, and help shape technical outcomes from concept through construction and practical completion.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised Engineering degree or relevant trade background.
• Holds national/regional registrations such as CPEng, NER, RPEQ, or QBCC Designer Licence.
• Strong problem-solving ability and sound engineering judgement.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
• Australian citizenship or permanent resident (preferred).
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, regulations, and NCC.
• Experience using engineering modelling software including Revit.
• Diverse experience across project types.
• Ability to independently manage discipline-specific scope on projects.
• Capable of leading projects end-to-end from design through construction.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Contribute to project strategy, mentoring others, and shaping technical outcomes.
• Lead and coordinate design teams; guide junior and graduate engineers.
• Manage full design lifecycle from concept through to construction and practical completion.
• Attend site inspections, project meetings, and industry events as a Lucid representative.
• Prepare, review, and contribute to reports, meeting minutes, and technical documentation.
• Prepare fee proposals and contribute to project bids.
