Job summary

Hydro Tasmania is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Capital Delivery to lead electrical engineering solutions across major hydropower projects in Tasmania. You will focus on HV switchgear, transformers, and alternators replacements and refurbishments, developing specifications and guiding designs from concept to commissioning.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in High Voltage (HV) power generation equipment and LV AC/DC systems.
Strong capability in electrical design of HV installations and development of equipment specifications.
Proven ability to deliver complex engineering outcomes and mentor colleagues.

Responsibilities

Produce and validate HV equipment specifications and design outputs.
Review, endorse, and sign off critical engineering documentation and standards.
Develop accurate technical inputs for project scope, estimates, and decisions.
