We are seeking a Senior Design Draftsperson to join our Technology & Improvement (T&I) team based at the Australind Pigment Plant, just north of Bunbury in the South West of WA. This position is a permanent full-time role, working a 38-hour week compressed into a 9-day fortnight with every second Friday off.
Reporting to the T&I Projects Lead, this role is responsible for managing the design, development and maintenance of asset documentation for electrical and instrumentation systems on site. As the Senior Designer/Draftsperson, you will coordinate engineering designs, drawings, schedules and data sheets from preliminary concepts, ensuring all projects adhere to established company procedures, client specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Key responsibilities include leading the electrical design process to deliver high-quality master documents and calculations across all project phases, and reviewing designs to ensure compliance with relevant standards. You will collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary stakeholders to support continuous improvement initiatives, providing technical expertise and guidance to others within the team. This role also involves ongoing support across procurement, construction and commissioning, leveraging modern engineering tools and techniques to deliver project outcomes.
