Job summary

Department of Education and Training in Maningrida seeks a Senior Teacher 3 to provide strategic educational leadership and drive effective curriculum and pedagogy across the college. You will lead the Primary team, support wellbeing initiatives, and guide school-wide practices in partnership with senior leadership.

The role includes coaching staff, facilitating professional growth, and ensuring compliance with policy while engaging with the Maningrida community.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and educational leadership in curriculum and pedagogy, wellbeing, and school-wide practices.
• Lead the Primary team and specialist staff, coaching and giving constructive feedback on classroom management and pedagogy.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the college and alignment with DET policies.

Primary Objective:

As a senior leader at Maningrida College, provide strategic and educational leadership in the development and delivery of effective education programs including curriculum and pedagogy, wellbeing, and school-wide practices. Work collaboratively with senior leadership to ensure the smooth day to day running of the college and comply with the Department of Education and Training policy and the expressed needs of the Maningrida community as articulated in the Department and College’s strategic planning.
