Job summary

ANZUK Education in Brisbane's bayside region is seeking an experienced Economics & Accounting Teacher to join our independent co-educational school. The role covers senior Economics and Accounting with Business studies in Years 9–10, starting Term 1 2027.

You will inspire students, differentiate instruction, and work with a supportive team committed to academic excellence in a dynamic Humanities and Social Sciences faculty.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualifications with a major in Economics, Accounting or Business.
• Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
• Experience teaching senior Economics and/or Accounting.
• Knowledge of QCAA syllabus requirements and external assessment processes.

Responsibilities

• Teach Economics and Accounting across Years 11–12, with Business studies opportunities in Years 9–10.
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging learning experiences aligned with ACARA and QCAA requirements.
• Differentiate learning to cater for diverse student needs and maximise academic outcomes.
• Support students through a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Contribute to project-based learning initiatives and broader faculty programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to support student success.
• Participate in professional learning, school events and co-curricular activities.
