RPS is seeking an experienced Technical Director – Ecology to lead high-level ecological delivery on complex projects, offering strategic guidance and mentoring across geographies. You will help position RPS as a preferred supplier through excellence in service delivery and collaboration across disciplines.

The role involves shaping practice-level strategy, developing client relationships, and driving sustainable growth while upholding health and safety commitments.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical leadership across multiple sectors and regions.

• Offer expert advice on complex ecological issues, reporting and project risks.
• Ensure best practice in quality, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.
• Mentor, coach and develop technical staff and assist with workforce planning.
