Job summary

Specialised Management Group (SMG) is seeking an experienced E&I Engineer - Maintenance to support planned and reactive maintenance at a premium commercial and R&D facility near Melbourne CBD. This 8-12 month engagement suits a maintenance leader who coordinates trades and service partners with strong safety and compliance focus.

You will lead day-to-day maintenance, coordinate electrical/instrumentation activities, and manage contractors while maintaining quality asset data and records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance leadership/supervisory roles.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment.
• Electrical and/or instrumentation maintenance experience.
• Contractor and subcontractor management capability.
• Experience leading trades and maintenance teams.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver day-to-day maintenance activities.
• Manage planned, preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance.
• Coordinate electrical and instrumentation maintenance and calibration.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors and service partners.
• Plan and coordinate annual shutdowns.
• Inspect for maintenance, safety, quality and environmental risks.
• Maintain maintenance records, schedules and asset data.
• Support audits and close non-conformances.
• Ensure inductions and competencies are maintained.
• Maintain spares, inventory and asset requirements.
• Build strong client and service-provider relationships.
• Respond to maintenance issues, including after-hours when required.
