Job summary

Victorian Government - Department of Families, Fairness and Housing is seeking a Senior Practice Adviser to contribute to operational activities around authorisation of restrictive practices and to oversee clinical reviews for people with disabilities under the Disability Act 2006.

You will provide expert practice advice to disability service organisations under the NDIS, review behaviour support plans, and undertake systemic and individual reviews to safeguard rights.

Qualifications

• Provide practice advice and professional expertise to stakeholders in disability services.
• Review behaviour support plans in line with the Disability Act and for secondary approval.
• Undertake systemic and individual clinical reviews of restrictive practices to safeguard rights.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to operational activities surrounding authorisation of restrictive practices.
