Job summary

JD Sports is seeking a Senior Digital Trade Manager to lead trading activities for our digital business across ANZ. You will drive revenue, profit, traffic, and efficiency by coordinating channel plans with paid media and cross-functional trading teams.

You will report to the Head of Digital Trade ANZ and own the digital trading calendar, stakeholder communications, and action plans to improve performance across categories.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Ecommerce experience, retail background preferred.
• Hands-on platform experience with Shopify, Bloomreach or Magento.
• Experience managing sales budgets and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver channel plans and forecast traffic, spend and conversion to hit revenue targets.
• Manage the digital trading calendar and keep trading teams prepared for activity.
• Monitor product performance and plan actions to maximise top performing lines.
• Guide social, CRM and content to ensure effective paid and organic marketing.
• Maintain relationships with paid/earned media, brand teams and partners for alignment.
• Refine merchandising by analysing traffic and sales to improve category performance.

THE ROLE

JD Sports is on the lookout for a Senior Digital Trade Manager to join our Digital team! This role leads on trading activities to ensure we achieve targets for revenue, profit, traffic, and efficiency in our digital business.

Reporting into the Head of Digital Trade ANZ, this role is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Deliver all channel plan phasing, working closely with paid media and wider trading teams to forecast required channel traffic, spend, and conversion performance to achieve commercial sales targets while maintaining efficiencies
• Manage the digital trading calendar for the market and own communications to trading teams and the broader business, ensuring all trading streams and stakeholders are prepared for all activity
• Track and analyse product performance, and plan actions to maximise performing lines and support underperforming products
• Guide social, CRM, and content streams in planning marketing messaging on both paid and organic channels to drive efficient full-funnel coverage
• Maintain strong relationships with paid and earned media teams, third-party and brand marketing teams, other internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment on key activities
• Refine and optimise merchandising activity by analysing traffic and sales data to improve overall effectiveness across categories

WHO YOU ARE

• Minimum of 5 years' Ecommerce experience (retail experience preferable)
• Hands-on platform experience (e.g., Shopify, Bloomreach, Magento)
• Experience managing sales budgets and forecasting processes
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work within planning frameworks
• Experience working within commercial trading functions
• Sound understanding of other areas of an e-commerce business, including merchandising, content, performance marketing, social media, CRM, and customer logistics
• Leadership and training capabilities to develop and upskill other team members
• Commercial brand awareness and understanding of the Australian fashion retail landscape
