About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Dietitian to join the Mental Health Drug and Alcohol (MHDA) team within Western NSW Local Health District.

This specialist role provides high-quality, evidence-based nutrition services to adult Community Adult Mental Health clients, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHs) consumers and families, and Mental Health Inpatient Services at Dubbo Health Service.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Senior Dietitian will deliver advanced clinical nutrition care, provide professional leadership to the Dietetic Service, and support positive health outcomes for consumers, families and carers. The successful candidate will bring extensive clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centred, recovery-focused care within a complex mental health setting.
