Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Clinical Nurse at the AUS Liverpool Clinic to deliver patient-centred care in a hemodialysis setting. You will work with the clinic team, participate in education and quality activities, and support professional development while upholding privacy and patient rights.

role includes coordinating care, teaching staff, and contributing to a safe and supportive environment for patients and visitors, with minimum rostered hours 60 per fortnight.

Qualifications

• Registered as a general nurse with AHPRA.
• Current practising certificate.
• Minimum three years relevant nursing experience.
• Pursuing nephrology nursing qualification.
• Ability to reflect on practice and apply learning.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes advanced nephrology nursing skills in planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care.
• Act as primary coordinator of care for dialysis patients, coordinating with other providers.
• Participates in professional development and mandatory competencies.
• Provides education and support to patients and carers.
• Precepts and mentors junior staff.
• Promotes a safe, healthy working environment.
• Liaises with nephrologists and Allied Health Team.
• Maintains accurate patient information and confidentiality.
