Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking a hands-on DevScope SME / Senior DevSecOps Engineer to drive security scanning standards across enterprise pipelines. You will own the configuration, deployment and integration of SAST, SCA and DAST tooling—ensuring secure, scalable CI/CD processes.

The role requires delivery-focused engineering, strong scripting and API automation, and close collaboration with engineering squads to enable secure coding and fast remediation across GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or

Qualifications

Proven implementation of enterprise SAST, SCA & DAST tooling.
Hands-on DevSecOps integration into automated CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and vulnerability mgmt.
Scripting for automation and API integration to streamline scanning workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end configuration, deployment and integration of code scanning platforms across enterprise repositories.
Establish baseline rulesets, policy standards and enforcement for SAST, SCA and DAST.
Embed automated security testing stages and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
Define security scanning scope, triage workflows and optimize rulesets to minimize developer friction.
Collaborate with software teams to enable secure coding practices and remediation guidance.
