Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team in Columbia, MD. The ideal candidate will excel in Kubernetes, container orchestration, CI/CD, and automation, with strong Linux and scripting skills across Python, Bash, and Go.

You will support cloud infrastructure and on-premise deployments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. A TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance is required, with opportunities for mentorship and leadership within the team.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly US Government clearance required.
• 9+ years DevOps Engineering or Software Development with related degree, or 7 years with Masters, or 13 years with HS.
• Strong Kubernetes/container orchestration knowledge.
• Experience with cloud deployments and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Automate deployment processes for reliability and scalability.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into infrastructure.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams; lead initiatives as needed.
• Support on-site operations in Columbia, MD and adapt to off-hours work windows.
