Change Recruitment is partnering with a leading Australian technology company to modernise its DevOps and infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes, containerisation and automation.

The role sits between traditional infrastructure and platform/DevOps engineering, focusing on Linux-based private cloud, bare-metal environments and scalable automation. You will contribute to AI-ready infrastructure and CI/CD evolution.

Qualifications

• Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer background
• Hands-on Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with private cloud or bare-metal infra
• Strong scripting in Python/Bash for automation
• CI/CD across GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket
• Configuration management with Ansible and/or Puppet

Responsibilities

• Build, administer and improve Kubernetes environments
• Advance containerised infrastructure adoption
• Manage Linux-based private cloud and bare-metal infra
• Automate infrastructure and deployments with Python/Bash
• Develop CI/CD pipelines across GitLab, GitHub and Bitbucket
• Use Ansible and/or Puppet for automation and config mgmt
• Triage across servers, networking, storage and virtualization
• Support complex production deployments and AI-ready infra
• Drive automation to reduce manual deployment effort
• Own technical challenges and contribute to DevOps maturity
