Job summary

Capstone Recruitment is seeking a Senior DevOps / Cloud & Security Engineer to own our cloud platform, CI/CD pipelines, and security posture. This hands-on role designs, builds, and operates reliable, scalable infrastructure that supports a modern, data-heavy SaaS platform.

Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to improve reliability, performance, cost-efficiency, and developer experience, while embedding security by design and compliance in every release.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar IaC tools.
• Strong CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Solid understanding of security by design (IAM, Key Vault, networking, zero-trust).
• Experience operating production SaaS platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable Azure infrastructure.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes using Azure DevOps.
• Drive infrastructure as code and environment automation.
• Implement and enforce DevSecOps best practices.
• Improve observability, reliability, and cost optimisation.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Support ML, Databricks, and Elasticsearch workloads in production.
• Partner closely with engineers to enable fast, safe delivery.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Cloud & Security Engineerto take ownership of our cloud platform, CI/CD pipelines, and security posture. This is a hands‑on, senior rolewhere you’ll design, build, and operate reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure that supports a modern, data‑heavy SaaS platform.

You’ll work closely with engineering, data, and product teams to improve reliability, performance, cost‑efficiency, and developer experience—while ensuring security and compliance are built in by design.
