Job summary

Woods Bagot in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Designer to lead design delivery on major city-shaping projects across sectors.

You will mentor junior staff, oversee documentation and collaboration with consultants, and communicate design ideas through presentations, drawings and models. The role requires 10–15 years’ experience, a Master of Architecture, and strong leadership and client engagement skills, with advanced Revit and Rhino proficiency.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years' experience in architectural practice.
• Master of Architecture qualification; registration preferred.
• Experience delivering complex projects across sectors.
• Strong design and project delivery capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating consultant teams.
• Strong understanding of documentation and construction processes.
• Leadership and mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex projects across a range of typologies.
• Collaborate with Principals, Project Leaders, clients, and project teams to develop high-quality design outcomes.
• Oversee the production of design and technical documentation.
• Communicate design ideas through presentations, drawings and models.
• Coordinate consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and support architects and designers within the studio.
• Contribute positively to studio culture through leadership and collaboration.
