Job summary

Architectus is seeking a Senior Designer / Senior Architect to join our Infrastructure team in the Adelaide Studio and contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects, with a particular focus on data centre design, production, detailed documentation and peer review.

In this role you will undertake detailed architectural and technical work with minimal supervision, leading or assisting project delivery while ensuring positive design, client, team and financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Data centre experience is preferred but not essential.
• Extensive technical experience taking projects from concept through to IFC.
• Excellent technical and documentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• The ability to develop creative yet practical design and technical solutions.
• A strong understanding of architectural documentation and coordination requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the project team to understand client needs, liaising directly with clients and contractors as required.
• Contribute to the delivery of projects and project packages on time.
• Ensuring the project leader is informed of all technical or design aspects of the job to perform their role.
• Recommend technical document production for projects.
• Manage delivery of approved technical and design document production.
• Execute the performance management process.
• Role model Architectusculture and values.
• Attend and provide valued input at management meetings.
