Job summary

Monks seeks an experienced Senior Designer to join a regional creative team delivering rapid-turn editorial and marketing content. You will apply established brand systems to polished digital and web assets, ensuring high-level craft across deliverables.

The role requires strong Figma proficiency, autonomy, and the ability to translate complex information into clear visuals while aligning with brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of digital, visual, web or product design experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and design systems.
• Strong understanding of UX, responsive web design and accessibility.
• Ability to organize complex information through thoughtful hierarchy and visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality editorial, marketing and web-based assets using established brand guidelines and systems.
• Translate complex technical and product information into clear visual hierarchies, diagrams and graphics.
• Apply UX and web design principles across responsive layouts.
• Work fluently in Figma with shared libraries, components, auto layout and plugins.
• Adapt existing design systems while maintaining brand consistency.
• Collaborate with the Design Director, technical writers, motion designers and producers to realise briefs.
• Interpret briefs and feedback independently and ask clarifying questions when needed.
• Prepare organized, production-ready files for distributed teams.
• Support clear handoffs across regions or shifts.
• Conduct thorough self-QA for content accuracy, alignment and accessibility.
• Incorporate feedback while preserving design system integrity.
• Use approved AI and creative tools to support exploration and efficiency.
• Maintain discretion when handling confidential information.
