Job summary

Gold Coast Hospital & Health Service is seeking a Senior Dentist to join Gold Coast Health to deliver high-level clinical services and leadership within the oral health team on the Gold Coast and northern NSW region.

The role emphasizes advanced dental practice, supervision and education of students, and contributing to state-wide oral health service development. Registration with AHPRA and a dentistry degree are essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Dentistry or equivalent.
• Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
• Vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B; TB screening may be required.
• Driver Licence; declaration of serious discipline history.
• Criminal History Screening required for new employees (GCH covers cost)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high level clinical services and direction to oral health staff and teams.
• Demonstrate advanced dental skills.
• Provide effective student supervision and education within an operational clinical setting.
