Job summary

Dayforce Australia Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to join a well‑run payroll team. You will manage high‑volume payroll for AUS & NZ on a fortnightly and monthly cycle, with training provided on the Dayforce system.

You will interpret awards and EBAs, perform end‑to‑end payroll processing, manage deductions and superannuation, and handle payroll queries within statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Full function high volume payroll processing experience for AUS & NZ employees.
• High Volume Payroll Processing knowledge.
• At least 5 years' end to end payroll processing experience.
• Understanding, interpreting and applying relevant legislation.
• Calculation of payroll tax and superannuation.

Responsibilities

• AUS & NZ Fortnightly & Monthly Payroll using Dayforce.
• Interpreting relevant awards and multiple enterprise bargaining agreements.
• High Volume Payroll Processing knowledge applied to the team.
• Updating and maintaining payroll records.
• Terminations processing.
• Maintaining leave, sickness and overtime reports.
• Answering queries from staff.
• Payroll reporting to meet statutory obligations.
• Experience paying superannuation.
