Job summary

ASX Limited seeks a senior Quality Engineer & Tester to join the Product Delivery team in Australia. You’ll design and implement test approaches for ELT pipelines on cloud platforms, execute tests, and drive automation to accelerate delivery.

You'll collaborate with Data Stewards, Data Scientists and Software Developers, align with roadmaps, manage defects, and contribute to data processing solutions while operating in an Agile, governed environment. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of test engineering experience in data/ETL and data warehousing projects.
• Strong SQL skills; proficiency in Python or Java.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Exposure to non-functional testing (performance/load).
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and develop test approaches and scripts for ELT pipelines on cloud platforms.
• Execute test cases within timeframes and document results.
• Automate test cases to speed delivery and reliability.
• Manage defects and coordinate resolution with data engineers and stakeholders.
• Undertake Data Engineering responsibilities as needed to deliver data processing solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards, Data Scientists and Software Developers to create analytics-based data products.
