Job summary

Nuix is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design and oversee data pipelines in Databricks on AWS, ensuring reliable delivery for analytics and AI workloads. You will transform raw data from multiple systems into governed, analytics-ready datasets using lakehouse patterns.

You will collaborate across a cross-functional Data, Analytics & AI team, focusing on pipeline engineering, data transformation and governance while engaging with analysts and dashboard developers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building robust ingestion pipelines using Databricks tools and API/file-based integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics and AI.
• Build data integrations with SaaS platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, Jira).
• Implement incremental processing to keep data sets up-to-date.
• Ensure data quality, reliability and performance across pipelines.
• Contribute to data governance, lineage and metadata management.
• Support production operations: monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting.
• Translate business/technical requirements into reliable datasets.
• Share knowledge and contribute to team standards and best practices.
