Job summary

The Senior Analyst will work within the Insights team of the Social Investment Analytics Unit to analyse and understand administrative data, supporting the Department's objective of building a fairer and safer Victoria. This includes helping DFFH program areas to develop business cases under the Early Intervention Investment Framework (EIIF), Treasury reporting tasks, and other analytics projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as analytics, statistics, IT or equivalent experience.
• Strong data analysis and storytelling with data, including descriptive statistics.
• Experience supporting program areas with business cases and funding bids.

Responsibilities

• Develop reports and briefings based on descriptive and statistical insights from administrative data, including linked data.
• Develop and apply knowledge of DFFH services and areas needs to scope and deliver modelling projects.
• Independently develop business cases based on quantitative evidence to support funding bids.
