Transport for NSW seeks a Senior Manager Data Engineering (Lead Specialist) to lead the data engineering function across a complex infrastructure delivery portfolio. This role will set the technical direction for data architecture, integration, modelling, and transformation to ensure secure, scalable data access for users and applications.

You will build and lead a high-performing team, embed data governance, security and automation, and work with architects, analysts and business stakeholders

Qualifications

Proven experience leading data engineering teams in large organisations.
Strong knowledge of data architecture, modelling and governance.
Experience with ELT/ETL processes and cloud platforms.

Responsabilités

Lead the Data Engineering function across a complex infrastructure delivery portfolio.
Set technical direction for data architecture, integration, modelling and transformation.
Ensure data pipelines and platforms provide timely, secure access to information.
Build and lead a high-performing technical team; embed governance, security and automation.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, technology partners and stakeholders to deliver robust data products.
