Allura Partners is seeking a senior engineer to deepen Snowflake-based data pipelines and integrate AI workloads. You’ll extend the Snowflake environment to run AI alongside data, collaborating with AI engineers and business teams to deliver practical solutions.

You’ll use Snowflake, SQL, dbt and Python, with exposure to Snowpark and Cortex AI features. The role offers a hybrid setup in Sydney and room to influence platform evolution as AI tooling expands.

Qualifikationen

• Deep hands-on Snowflake, SQL, dbt and Python.
• Has used Cortex or other Snowflake AI functions on live work.
• Some experience with LLMs, embeddings or vector search.
• A strong data modeller, with Data Vault knowledge preferred.
• Understands how data needs to be shaped for ML, including features.
• Works with AI coding assistants and wants to help the team do the same.
• Can talk about technical work in plain language.

Our client is an established, listed financial services organisation headquartered in Sydney. Data and AI are a growing priority for the business, and they’re adding a senior engineer to the team as that investment ramps up.

About The Role

This is an individual contributor role for someone who still loves to build. Most of your time will go into the business’s Snowflake environment, extending it so AI runs alongside the data rather than outside it. You’ll work day to day with AI engineers and partner with teams who want to put AI to use.

• $210k package (base + bonus + super)
