Job summary

Morgan Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a 3-month contract in Melbourne, Australia, with strong Databricks and Azure data platform expertise. You will design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines, integrating data from CRM systems and other sources to support analytics, reporting and AI driven outcomes.

The role requires hands-on experience with Delta Lake architectures, Bronze/Silver/Gold layers, and productionising data engineering solutions in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong Danabicks/Spark/PySpark and Delta Lake knowledge.
• Experience building lakehouse architectures (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Proficiency in data modeling, SQL and data governance.
• Azure data platform experience and data integration from CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines on Databricks.
• Develop Bronze, Silver and Gold data layers for a lakehouse.
• Ingest data from Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho and other sources.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes using Databricks, Spark and PySpark.
• Ensure data quality and production readiness of data products.
