Job summary

Tech Mahindra is hiring for a data engineering specialist in Sydney to design, build, and govern real-time and batch data ingestion frameworks using AWS SageMaker, Kinesis, and Spark. The role emphasizes scalable data pipelines, data transformation, and governance within a modern cloud environment.

The candidate will work with relational and NoSQL databases, implement Airflow DAGs, and ensure observability with CloudWatch. Strong Python skills and experience with AWS services are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with AWS SageMaker Unified Studio, including Discover, Build and Govern.
• Experience with Sagemaker IDE and Application (Jupyterlab, Spaces and Partner AI Apps).
• Data Analysis and Integrations (Query Editor, Visual ETL Jobs and Data Processing).
• Orchestration of workflows and ML Pipelines.
• Knowledge of ML/Gen AI tools in Unified Studio is a plus.
• Setting up projects and data governance in SageMaker Unified Studio.
