We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a growing data and analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support business intelligence, operational reporting, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support enterprise reporting and analytics requirements.
• Build and optimise Microsoft Fabric data solutions, including data pipelines, orchestration workflows, and Lakehouse architectures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into robust, data-driven solutions.
• Support production data platforms through monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain integrated datasets by leveraging API integrations, cloud services, and modern data engineering best practices.

Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in SQL, including data modelling, query optimisation, ETL/ELT development, and relational database design.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, cloud data platforms, data migration projects, and data orchestration frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages for automation and platform management.

Desirable Experience

• Dimensional modelling, data warehousing, star schema design, and trusted dataset development.
• Production support, platform maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting within enterprise data environments.
• Experience developing real‑time or near real‑time data solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud‑first architectures and data platform modernisation strategies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering capabilities.
