Softtest pays pty ltd in Melbourne is seeking an EL2 Domain (Data) Architect on labour hire. The role provides strategic architectural leadership across a defined domain, developing and maintaining domain architecture, target state and transition roadmap.

You will guide governance forums and coordinate with delivery teams to ensure architecture alignment with business priorities. The role requires collaboration with enterprise, solution and security architects, and will influence investment

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and communicate the domain architecture, target state and strategic roadmap.
Provide authoritative architectural advice and technical leadership across programs and projects.
Ensure solution architectures and investments align with enterprise strategy and security.
Lead analysis of complex business and technology problems; propose strategic options.
Establish domain architecture principles, patterns, standards and guardrails for reuse.
Review designs and decisions, identify cross-domain dependencies, risks and gaps.
Collaborate with enterprise/data/solution/security architects and delivery teams for coherence.
Influence investment decisions with advice on impacts, dependencies and risks.
Represent the domain at architecture governance forums and enable decisions.
Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends; assess impact on the domain.
Lead resolution of major architectural issues; balance direction, risk, cost, constraints.
Build architectural capability through leadership, mentoring and guidance.
