Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking a Senior Data Centre & Infrastructure Engineer to support a cyber security program in Brisbane. You will analyse current-state services and design target-state migrations into modern, secure data centre environments, collaborating with cyber security, data centre and wider stakeholders.

Based in Brisbane, you’ll deliver end-to-end infrastructure changes, including VMware/Nutanix migrations, Windows Server and Active Directory activities, and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven delivery of complex data centre infrastructure and workload migration initiatives.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware and Nutanix (including migration activities and platform operations).
• Strong Windows Server administration and remediation experience.
• Active Directory and core Microsoft infrastructure services capability.
• Solid infrastructure solution design skills (target-state design aligned to architecture standards).
• Strong networking including VLAN / network changes, re-IP, DNS updates, and coordinating validation/testing.
• Experience producing high-quality technical documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to remediate infrastructure issues arising from penetration testing / vulnerability assessments.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple teams/stakeholders in an enterprise environment.
