Job summary

Jacobs in Australia is seeking Dams Engineers to join a growing dams team within the Water group. You will work on dam safety projects for Sunwater and other clients, applying your expertise across planning, design and construction phases.

You will be a Chartered Engineer or working toward Chartership, with strong background in concrete gravity, buttress, and arch dams, and familiarity with ANCOLD standards. This role offers hybrid work across Australian capitals.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in dams engineering.
• Experience with dam safety management, inspections, and risk assessment.
• Ability to manage client relationships in a positive and proactive manner.
• Ability to mentor and train engineers.
• Ability to build constructive relationships to form a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess project requirements and undertake inspections for dam projects.
• Advance projects through planning, design and construction phases.
• Mentor and train junior engineers within a multidisciplinary dam team.
• Manage inputs from a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
