Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Primary Technical Cyber Responser to lead our technical response to cybersecurity incidents in Australia. You will guide and coordinate incident response efforts, perform forensic analysis, and implement effective strategies to manage security breaches for clients.

You will lead and mentor teams of senior incident responders, leverage advanced forensic tools, and stay ahead of evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Degree in cybersecurity or related field required or preferred.
• Senior DFIR experience with leadership in incident responses.
• Ability to communicate technical details to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical aspects of incident response including containment and recovery.
• Develop and oversee incident response strategies aligned with client needs.
• Serve as primary DFIR expert guiding forensic investigations.
• Mentor senior incident responders during investigations.
• Utilize advanced forensic tools to analyze compromised systems.
• Monitor threats and adapt response strategies and tools.
• Leverage threat intelligence to mitigate risks.
• Document activities, findings, and mitigations in detail.
• Prepare post-incident reports and client presentations.
• Lead proactive engagements such as threat hunts and tabletop exercises.
