Job summary

Optus is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to lead exposure management across its external attack surface and internal vulnerability landscape. You will own the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle, prioritize based on exploitability and business impact, and work with infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams to drive remediation and improve cyber resilience.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Exposure Management, Vulnerability Management and Attack Surface Management.
• Hands-on experience with managing exposure lifecycle from discovery to remediation.
• Knowledge of cloud, containers, APIs, CI/CD, and identity systems.
• Familiarity with security analytics and scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead exposure management across Optus' external and internal surfaces and drive a threat-informed risk view.
• Coordinate vulnerability discovery, triage, prioritisation and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, engineering and application teams to achieve remediation.
• Translate exposure findings into detections and security controls with threat intel.
