Job summary

The Creative Store Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer for a freelance, CBD Sydney role. You will lead design across proposals, pitch presentations, and marketing collateral, transforming complex briefs into visually compelling, industry‑leading communications.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior Graphic Designer, Senior Integrated Designer or similar.
• Exceptional portfolio demonstrating sophisticated creative work across print and digital.
• Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Outstanding typography, layout, composition and information design skills.
• Experience designing high-end presentations, proposals, editorial layouts and marketing communications.
• Ability to interpret complex information and communicate it through compelling visual design.
• Strong creative judgement with the confidence to develop and recommend design solutions.
• Excellent finished artwork, file preparation and production knowledge.
• Confident collaborating with senior stakeholders and managing projects independently.
• Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable working across multiple deadlines.
• Corporate, agency or professional services experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality proposals, tender submissions and pitch presentations
• Transform complex, text-heavy information into clear, engaging visual communications
• Create sophisticated corporate presentations, infographics, diagrams and reports
• Develop creative solutions across print, digital and marketing collateral
• Work closely with sales, bid management and internal stakeholders to interpret briefs
• Elevate the visual quality of client-facing materials while maintaining brand consistency
• Manage design projects independently from concept through to final production
• Balance multiple projects, competing deadlines and stakeholder requirements
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail across all creative deliverables
