Job summary

Titan Recruitment Pty Ltd. is assisting an emerging Australian resources company with a Lead Cost Controller role for a major gold development in Western Australia. The role is 100% office-based and focuses on owning cost control across a significant pre-execution budget as construction activity ramps up.

You will lead cost control, forecasting and reporting, using Power BI and advanced Excel to provide clear stakeholder visibility and drive commercial decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in Lead or Senior Cost Controller roles on large-scale mining or construction projects.
• Strong cost control, forecasting and reporting capabilities.
• Power BI experience with existing reporting model preferred.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Ability to communicate cost information to project stakeholders.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost control activities across the project.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, commitments and actual costs.
• Maintain accurate cost reporting through lifecycle.
• Utilise Power BI to support reporting and cost visibility.
• Monitor cost performance and identify trends or variances.
• Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for project leadership.
• Work closely with project, commercial and construction teams as activity ramps up.
• Support the project through its development phase to execution.
