Job summary

KBR seeks a Senior Cost Controller or Cost Controller to support the financial and commercial performance of major infrastructure and defence programs in Australia. You will deliver cost analysis, forecasting and reporting to enable informed decision-making and drive project outcomes.

Role requires experience in cost control, budgeting, financial analysis, and strong Excel skills; Primavera P6 is highly regarded. Security clearance is advantageous but not required for non-defence work.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Commerce or similar.
• Cost forecasting and financial analysis capability.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Analyze cost performance, variances and trends.
• Support EAC processes and monthly reporting.
• Apply contingency and risk management practices.
• Ensure governance and controls compliance.
• Provide commercial insight to support delivery decisions.
