Job summary

TECO Australia and New Zealand is seeking an experienced Corporate Treasurer to lead cash, liquidity and banking activities from our Sydney head office in Smithfield. This hands-on role requires ownership of daily cash, forecast accuracy, FX execution and sound lender relationships.

You will manage the accounts payable team, oversee intercompany payments, and drive treasury policies across the ANZ region, with scope to discuss hybrid arrangements after induction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics and professional qualification (CA/CPA) preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in accounting or finance with at least 2 years in treasury, cash management or banking operations.
• Hands-on experience with import letters of credit, bank guarantees and spot FX transactions.
• Experience supervising an accounts payable function and maintaining strong payment controls.
• Exposure to project finance or bank loans is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash position and rolling cash-flow forecast across AUD, USD, NZD.
• Lead FX hedging activities and liaison with banks for rates and quotes.
• Oversee end-to-end LC process and LC register.
• Lead accounts payable team and ensure payment controls.
• Maintain banking relationships, facilities and annual reviews.
• Prepare monthly treasury reports for CFO and audit support.
