Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking a seasoned corporate accountant to lead financial reporting, technical accounting and business partnering across multiple entities in Australia's international environment. You'll own corporate accounting activities, governance and financial integrity while mentoring a small accounting team.

You'll work with senior leadership to support performance, strengthen controls and provide commercial insights.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualifications (or nearing completion).
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Solid understanding of IFRS, with exposure to US GAAP viewed favourably.
• Strong statutory reporting, compliance and audit management experience.
• Tax exposure across corporate environments.
• Experience preparing technical accounting papers and interpreting accounting standards.
• Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Previous experience leading, mentoring or developing finance team members (ideal).
• Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle or similar.
