We are seeking a skilled Control System Engineer with a strong background in system design and integration to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial applications, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability.

Candidate Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• 5-10 years of Iron Ore industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in Allen Bradley PLC, Flex 5000 remote I/O, E300 motor protection relay, Siemens LV drive configuration, programming/coding, testing and on-site commissioning experience for the WA iron-ore industry is essential.
• Familiarity with BHP WAIO or Port standard drive logic including safety PLCs.
• Ability to follow P&IDs, electrical schematics and other design documentation.
• Interaction with other disciplines to develop/update functional descriptions/specifications, testing and commissioning plans and related documentation.
• Awareness of functional safety practices.
• Communicate effectively with management, co-workers, clients and other stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Ethernet/devicenet communications network configuration is desirable.
