Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty in Sydney is seeking a senior commercial professional to lead contract administration on an integrated station and infrastructure development in Parramatta. You will partner with project leadership to administer contracts, improve commercial performance and mentor junior commercial staff, while managing head-contracts, notices, claims, payments and variations.

The role requires a bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying or related field and at least seven

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• At least seven years in construction contract administration or commercial management.
• Experience with building, civil or infrastructure contracts and subcontract packages.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction contracts and procurement.
• Effective negotiation, analysis, prioritisation and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage head-contract and subcontract correspondence, notices, claims, payments, variations and time extensions.
• Support package procurement, negotiations and commercial reviews.
• Prepare cost forecasts and financial reports that inform project decisions.
• Assess contractual and financial risks and resolve commercial issues.
• Build effective client and supplier relationships and mentor junior commercial staff.
