Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator / Superintendent to join our Construction Management and Contract Administration team in Queensland. You’ll lead major road and transport contracts, providing senior contractual and commercial direction across the full project lifecycle.

You’ll work with government clients, contractors and specialists to ensure safe, efficient delivery in line with contractual and technical requirements. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia.
• RPEQ registration is required.
• Extensive experience in the contract administration and delivery of major road infrastructure projects.
• Significant experience as Contract Administrator, Superintendent or Representative on large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration and delivery of major high‑value road and transport contracts.
• Occasionally act as Superintendent, Contract Administrator or Principal’s Representative as required.
• Provide senior contractual and commercial leadership across mobilisation, construction, completion and closeout.
• Manage complex construction contracts in line with policies, procedures and legislation.
• Advise clients and project leadership on contractual, commercial, technical, operational and risk matters.
• Oversee variations, claims, extensions of time, payment claims and notices.
