Job summary

Gough Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join a growing construction business delivering high-quality commercial projects across Sydney. You will own the project's commercial and contractual functions from procurement through to final account completion, working closely with Project Managers and site teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related.
• 5+ years' experience in Contract Administration in Australian construction.
• Experience on commercial, fit-out, industrial, residential or mixed-use projects.
• Strong procurement, cost management and subcontractor management.
• Ability to manage variations, EOTs, progress claims and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full contract administration process across multiple project packages.
• Lead procurement activities including tendering, scope preparation, analysis and subcontractor engagement.
• Negotiate and administer subcontract agreements.
• Assess and manage subcontractor progress claims, variations and payment schedules.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts and cost reporting.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare financial reports and support monthly project reviews.
• Review contractual correspondence and ensure compliance with head contract obligations.
• Manage project cash flow and final accounts.
• Mentor and support junior Contract Administrators where required.
• Work closely with Project Managers, consultants and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
