Job summary

KPMG is seeking a Senior Financial Modeller for Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney. You will advance your financial modelling expertise, delivering robust, well-structured models to support investment decisions and client advisory.

You will work across diverse projects, coach junior staff, and manage discrete workstreams within engagements, with a flexible work environment including home, office, and client hubs.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant numerate field such as commerce, accounting, econometrics or STEM.
• Progress towards or completion of CA, CFA or CPA is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to approach challenges logically.

Job Description

Your Opportunity – Financial Modeller (Senior Consultant –Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney)

Our Financial Modelling team is growing! As you progress your career in our team, you will leverage your increasing financial modelling expertise, helping clients solve complex commercial and investment challenges through robust, well-structured and insightful models.

• Develop best in class financial models to support strategic decision and valuation across numerous sectors and asset classes.
• Review financial models supporting some of the largest and highest profile transactions in Australia and globally.
• Develop and provide financial analysis to effectively interpret model outputs and deliver meaningful insights to clients.
• Work on a diverse range of projects, including major investment decisions, greenfield developments, project financings, business cases and transaction-related engagements.
• Manage client engagements or discrete workstreams within a larger engagement, coaching and developing junior staff and client resources.
• Receive tailored learning and development from some of the most financial modellers in the industry.
• Work in a flexible environment with working from the Home, Office, and Client hubs.

• Have experience working with clients or stakeholders and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Are motivated by continuous learning and developing deep technical expertise.
