Job summary

CyberCX is looking for a Senior Consultant to engage with clients, lead meetings, and deliver high-quality cyber security deliverables with minimal supervision. You will identify new opportunities and support business development including proposals and presentations.

Lead discovery with stakeholders, shape client outcomes, and produce strategic security recommendations across risk assessment, frameworks, and testing. Experience with large firms or global environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in cyber security, ideally in a global consulting firm or large technology company.
• Ability to engage with senior client stakeholders with poise and clarity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic business perspective.

Job description

The Senior Consultant is responsible for engaging with customers to solve their most challenging cyber security problems, protect their future, and empower them to thrive in an uncertain world.

You will be an experienced cyber security professional capable of leading client meetings and producing high-quality deliverables with minimal supervision.

You will also use your business acumen to identify new opportunities and support business development activities including proposals and presentations.

• Lead discovery activities with client stakeholders to inform deliverables and shape client outcomes
• Support the development of cyber security strategies and solutions to protect clients and their customers
• Facilitate cyber security awareness amongst our clients' leadership teams
• Produce high-quality proposals, reports, and presentations for senior client stakeholders
• Manage client expectations, communicate effectively, and develop professional relationships with clients
• Prepare clients for critical cyber security incidents through contributing to their cyber security strategic direction

Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• A minimum of three years of experience working in cyber security, ideally with experience working for a global consulting firm or large technology company
• Strong people leadership qualities, including personal presence and the ability to engage with senior client stakeholders
• Strategic mindset and understanding of how engagements fit into a broader business context
• Ability to communicate with structure, clarity, and precision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner
• Proficiency and experience across more than one cyber security areas. For example, risk assessment and management, cyber security frameworks (such as NIST CSF, ISM, ISO/IEC27001) or vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, security research etc
