Job summary

Konekt is seeking an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions that enable individuals and organisations to achieve their potential. Based in Broken Hill.

You will assess, plan and coordinate return‑to‑work programs, engage stakeholders and support clients to resume meaningful occupations, with flexible 9‑day fortnights and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Professional registration with AHPRA, ESSA (AEP)
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
• A current Working with Children Check
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application

Responsibilities

• Utilising your specialist knowledge and skills to assist people to return to meaningful engagement in occupations
• Evaluating the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness
• Helping clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests
• Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
• Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor your client’s progress toward their return to work goal
• Engaging with key stakeholders and building strong relationships to facilitate the achievement of business objectives
