Job summary

Boral Concrete seeks a Senior Technical Specialist to develop, monitor and optimise the technical performance of concrete products from its Stonyfell base. You will work with customers and internal teams to provide expert advice while ensuring quality and cost targets are met.

Responsibilities include monitoring material quality, testing conformity to standards, and assessing field performance for customer suitability.

Qualifications

• Experience within the concrete or construction industry.
• Experience using QestMix, QestLab and Command is highly regarded.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders.
• Customer centric work ethic and a solutions driven approach.
• Current Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring quality of concrete raw materials and reducing mix costs.
• Active monitoring of test results for concreate products to ensure conformance with Australian Standards and specifications.
• Assessing product’s field performance for suitability with customer requirements.
• Reviewing technical content of project specifications within tenders and offering innovative product solutions.
