Job summary

John Holland Group is delivering a Melbourne Water Framework project in Victoria. The Senior Community & Stakeholder Relations Advisor will develop and manage stakeholder programs to support project outcomes and protect Melbourne Water’s reputation.

The role requires thoughtful engagement with communities, agencies and the project team to minimise disruption. Based on site in Elwood with the framework head office in Canterbury, VIC, you will lead communications actions, coordinate community

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience providing strategic communications advice and services.
• Multi-discipline experience across corporate communications, stakeholder relations and community engagement.
• Experience leading projects or specialist functions within a construction environment is highly regarded.
• IAP2 certificate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate construction impacts and effectively respond to feedback and concerns.
• Identify and manage issues and risks, elevating them to the Project Manager and JV’s Community and Stakeholder Manager.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with Melbourne Water project teams and stakeholders.
• Write high‑quality communications materials and coordinate community information sessions and door-knocks as required.
• Manage all project communications across phone, email, website and social media per the client framework.
