Job summary

The Senior Communications Adviser role within the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing Victoria supports planning, coordination and implementation of priority communications, major events and community engagement across the Public Engagement Branch.

Working with digital, social, corporate, creative, media and events teams, you will deliver end-to-end communications, risk mitigation, and alignment with whole-of-government guidelines during emergencies and peak periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic communications planning and delivery.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Understanding of government guidelines and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate communication strategies and collateral.
• Provide integrated communications advice across the division.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in communications.
