Job summary

Bapcor is seeking a commercially minded analyst to become the key finance partner for Autobarn, supporting 100+ locations and a $320M revenue business. You will uncover what numbers mean, tell the story behind the data, and influence commercial decisions beyond reporting.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, contribute to strategy, budgeting and forecasting, and drive commercial improvements across the Autobarn network.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in commercial finance, financial analysis, management reporting or business partnering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
• The ability to translate data into meaningful commercial insights and recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A curious mindset with a desire to understand the 'why' behind the numbers.
• CA/CPA qualified, studying or willing to study.

Job Description

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you'll act as the primary finance partner for the Autobarn business.

You'll work closely with operational leaders to understand performance drivers, identify risks and opportunities, challenge assumptions and provide insights that influence business decisions.

Success in this role comes from building strong stakeholder relationships, asking the right questions and translating complex financial information into practical commercial recommendations.

You're naturally curious and enjoy digging beneath the numbers to understand what's really driving business performance.

You don't just produce reports, you use data to tell a story, uncover opportunities and influence better business decisions. You're comfortable building relationships across the business, challenging assumptions and translating complex information into practical insights.

You'll bring:

• 3+ years' experience in commercial finance, financial analysis, management reporting or business partnering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
• The ability to translate data into meaningful commercial insights and recommendations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A curious mindset with a desire to understand the "why" behind the numbers
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics or a related discipline
• CA/CPA qualified, studying or willing to study
