Job summary

Meta Platforms, Reality Labs is seeking a principal-level leader to own the end-to-end contract manufacturing strategy for Reality Labs wearable hardware. You will define the sourcing strategy across a global supply base, partnering with engineering, operations, and supplier executives to ensure devices are manufactured at scale with quality, cost, and supply resilience.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in contract manufacturing sourcing, supply chain, or hardware tech
• Experience leading negotiations with global EMS/ODM partners
• Experience building sourcing strategies for hi- complexity consumer hardware
• Ability to influence executives in cross-functional settings
• Experience with TCO modeling and competitive benchmarking in contract manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Define and own the long-term contract manufacturing sourcing strategy for Reality Labs wearables and AR/VR hardware
• Identify and develop capable contract manufacturing partners at scale
• Lead executive-level negotiations on pricing, capacity, and long-term supply agreements
• Drive total cost of ownership improvements through should-cost modeling and benchmarking
• Partner with hardware engineering and product teams to influence manufacturability decisions
• Establish supplier performance frameworks including capacity planning and quality metrics
• Develop multi-generational sourcing roadmaps aligned to product roadmaps
• Manage supply risk with dual-sourcing and risk mitigation
• Provide mentorship to sourcing professionals on the team
• Represent sourcing strategy in cross-functional leadership forums
